Mid-Century Modern and Post modern design has become increasingly popular in current day. This style of design was first seen in the 1950’s and has become a timeless classic, seeing an enormous resurgence over the last decade.

Eames is likely the best known of the Mid-Century modern Design; examples of Mid-Century-Modern specific lighting included classic designs such as the Sputnik chandelier (pictured above) or the Arco floor lamps (pictured above left) and the very recognisable Lousie Poulson table lamps, all available in numerous colours (pictured above right); all of which are iconic pieces that are very much in style.

The continued popularity of this style has been driven by its versatility and its ability to blend well with contemporary interior designs, making it a great choice for adding a classic touch without compromising on modernity.

The Raymond (pictured above) is presented in colourful powder coated metals – in true Mid-Century modern style and takes center stage next to our glass Esme lamps; with the entire collection consisting of table, wall and pendant lights. The Esme and Raymond take center stage with their striking, playful yet beautifully elegant designs that would suit very literally any interior.

The Esme lamps have a sleek metal tubular frame that curve around to hold n place a glass shade; the chrome tubular frame of the 70’s Italian post-Modern design mixed with playful vibrant colours of the mid-Century Modern style make these a centre piece item; the initial offering of Esme lamps consist of coloured glass domes in black, white, orange and pink; with the view to introduce a blue and green option later in the year.

All of the Kin table lamps are made to UK and EU specification, but can be used globally in countries with a 220-240v voltage system.

Wired to a two pin EU plug, but accompanied by a 3 pin plug adapter that the EU plug screws into.

Each lamp comes with 2m of black round fabric cable and black inline switch, used with a small sized E27 bulb, to ensure the bulb does not hang below the horizon of the lamp shade.
